 In South Florida, where competition is fierce for tech talent, this leading health IT company was challenged not only to find scalable office space to accommodate its rapid growth, but also to build out the space in a way that attracts the best people and inspires innovation and creativity.

With JLL’s help, Modernizing Medicine landed on the Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRIC), an exceptional location for a company determined to make history. BRIC is the former home of IBM headquarters, where the first PC was created. With the location locked down, the build-out needed to uniquely answer the critical considerations for tech office space:

1. To accommodate growth, how can we design the space to be scalable, efficient and flexible?
2. To inspire creativity, how can we facilitate innovation?
3. Because a company’s greatest resource is its talent, how can the design help attract the best people – and keep them?
4. When a startup regularly open doors to customers and the community, what image does the business want to project to employees and professionals?
